It is with deep sorrow that the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) learnt about the passing into Eternity on 17 July 2021 of Mr. Youssoupha Ndiaye, Prominent IOC Member and former Chairman of the IOC Ethics Commission. Born in Saint-Louis, Senegal, he was aged 83 when he departed. As a sports practitioner, Mr. Youssoupha Ndiaye was an international junior football school player (1957-1960); international footballer with US Gorée (1953-1959, 1960-1963) and with Saint-Louisienne of Saint-Louis (1960). He was also Gold medalist during the Dakar Friendship Games (1963).
