The 2022 Summer Youth Olympic Games will be the fourth edition of the Summer Youth Olympic Games and the seventh edition of the Youth Olympic Games. They will take place in Senegal.

Initially planned for 2022, the International Olympic Committee decided, at its 127th session in Monaco, to shift the organization of the future YOG to a non-Olympic year, namely 2023. But during the 132nd session organized on the fringes of the Games Pyeongchang 2018, the IOC Executive Board finally decides to relocate the YOG in 2022.
