Athletes’ Commission Strategic Plan

The Athletes’ Commission (AC) of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa is a pan-African athlete organization created to represent the interests of African Olympians within the African Olympic structure. The Chair of the ANOCA Board is a member of the ANOCA Executive Committee. All ACNOA Zone Board Chairs are members of their Zone Executive Committee.

The AC of ANOCA was reconstituted in 2013. It consists of the Athletes’ Commissions of the African National Olympic Committees. Their members are athletes who participated in the Olympic Games, both summer and winter, and who were normally elected by their fellow Olympians.

The objective of this strategic plan is to guide the action of the ANOCA Board, its members and staff so that, based on its values, which are the values of Olympism and the pillars of the Olympic Movement, it can achieve its vision, mission and objectives.
