With just over a year to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, ANOCA organised the 40th Seminar for Secretaries General of African NOCs on 4 and 5 November 2023 in Mombasa, Kenya, under the theme “Countdown arrangement to Paris 2024 Olympic Games.” The seminar afforded ANOCA and the Paris 2024 Organising Committee the opportunity to highlight the technical developments and arrangements made to host the Olympic and Sports Movement in the best conditions, and to ensure the Games are a global and popular festival. A few days earlier, in the very city of Mombasa, the supreme governing body of the African Olympic Movement and Olympic Solidarity organised a forum on financial management of resources made available to NOCs by the IOC.
