MUSTAPHA BERRAF re-elected as IOC member until 2028

The ANOCA President has been elected by an overwhelming majority of IOC members as IOC member until the end of 2028.

The vote was conducted during the 142nd IOC Session and confirmed by the Executive Board through an exceptional procedure. He is thus recognised for his hard work as one of the greatest African leaders of the Olympic and Sports Movement.

Commenting on this historic extension of his mandate, Mustapha BERRAF said: “I am grateful to the IOC President and IOC members for having granted me this privilege, and I promise to always live up to their trust.”

For many of his peers, Mustapha BERRAF has played a pioneering role in promoting the Olympic Movement and all its values through the National Olympic Committees of Africa.
