ANOCA President congratulates re-elected CNOSB President

The General Assembly of NOC Burkina Faso met on 19 September 19 2020 and re-elected the incumbent President, Jean Yameogo, for another four-year tenure. Once the news was made public, President Berraf did not waste time to extend his congratulations: “I hereby extend to you the sincere congratulations of the entire Executive Committee of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa following your re-election to the helm of NOC Burkina Faso for another four-year tenure,” wrote the steward of the supreme governing body of the African Olympic and Sports Movement. “The unanimous vote is patent proof of the confidence placed in you by the national sports movement of Burkina Faso. This also avails us the opportunity to express our deep satisfaction with the quality of your work and your integrity in promoting the Olympic values of ethics and solidarity (…) Please accept, once more, my warm and hearty congratulations and I do hope that this other mandate will be highly successful,” President Berraf concluded.
