ANOCA President, Honourable Mustapha Berraf, met with the Ambassador of Ethiopia to Algeria, H.E. ASSEGID Nabiat Getachew, at the Operational Office of ANOCA in Algiers.
Discussions focused on subsequent stages of cooperation and exchanges, notably the Extraordinary General Assembly and the African Youth Games to be held in Addis Ababa in December 2020 and 2022 respectively.
The ANOCA President hailed the harmonious relations between ANOCA and the Olympic Committee and the Government of Ethiopia, and requested the Ambassador to convey his sincere thanks to the authorities and the Olympic Committee for their assistance and readiness to host these major events.
In return, H.E. the Ambassador expressed his thanks and assured the President of his availability and support to all ANOCA actions and initiatives. The very cordial and fraternal audience concluded with the decision to foster sustained relationships between both parties.
