The President of NOC Sao Tome and Principe appointed special adviser to the Prime Minister

The President of NOC Sao Tome and Principe, João Manuel Da Costa Alegre, was recently appointed Special Adviser to the Prime Minister on sports-related issues. The newly promoted official, who is also First Vice President of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa, has many years of experience in sports management. He has often helped to foster relations between the government of his country and the local Olympic movement.  It is therefore only natural that the authorities of his country have placed confidence in him by appointing him to this strategic position.
